AMAS: Awful Music Awards.
I just finished watching the AMA's, and I must say, they were a colossal waste of time - if it wasn't for ONTD, that is.

First off, with the exception of Gaga (and I'm not a Gaga Stan), all of the performances were bland. Adam Lambert's "Outragous! Shocking! Performance, was incredibly desperate. I almost feel bad for him when the hype dies down and his record tanks. Adam, we understand that you are a gay man. You do not need to shove your tongue down your backup dancers throat in order to prove this. If you wanted to be shocking, you should have shoved your tongue down Gaga's throat. Maybe some of her creativity would have transfered via saliva.

Secondly, Taylor Swift. I understand why people are so pissed over her endless winning streak. She isn't a groundbreaking song writer, and she is a mediocre singer at best, but this award is voted for by the fans, and that is something she excels in. She is always gracious and humble, and that makes you want to root for her. I think she deserved this one. If Michael Jackson would have been nominated a year ago, people would have laughed. And Gaga has just as much song writing skills (or lack thereof) than Swift. Now, if it were for best stage performace....

And lastly, Kings of Leon. I am sorry you were robbed. Caleb, I would gladly...console you.
